Solution To This ??

TERROR HITS MUMBAI AGAIN
Given the present situation, location and responsibilities, I think the best solution to the issues we face now is one - AWARENESS.

In our current state of affairs, it feels a more efficient solution would be of being the part of Govt. or IPS and change it from within. The protagonist of the 2006 Bollywood movie 'Rang De Basanti' speaks of making the change by participation, not as a vocal activist. This is not just for impressing audiences after all. It is however, easier said then done. It may not be practical for all of us in different walks of life. However, AWARENESS is something which we all Indians, rich or poor, educated or uneducated, Urban or Rural, those in the country or those outside, can spread and be part off .

Spreading the word that this got to stop somewhere can bring about an overhaul in the way we ave been thinking and taking Terrorism + Govt.'s Policies for all these years now. Things need to start at grass root level, and in this case, it's starts with Awareness. Being Aware leads to Motivation. Motivation leads to Change in Thinking. Change in Thinking leads to Action. And Action makes CHANGES Everywhere.

Mumbai Blasts - again ...

If Mumbaikars come out for work tomorrow as if nothing ever happened, I will NOT call it RESILIENCY. I think it's high time for WE THE PEOPLE to act and do something. Call it a protest, change, or anything else, it's time to make the ruling government realize that it needs to act and make sure something like this never happens again. Vanquish those who are responsible. We need to be RESILIENT by CHOICE, NOT By FORCE.

Silent Morning, Silent Thoughts

4:12am
Trying hard too, but can't - sleep

Coming out in the hall, a few scrolls on 'Friendlist', a couple of attempts on one tough level of 'Angry Birds'. Still no sleep. I then wonder about folks back home. Must be 1:30pm in Mumbai right now. Makes me think that we may be sleeping or trying to sleep in here, but people are active and working on the other side. The show goes on someplace else no matter what.

Reminds you of your insignificance. You are inert for time being, but Oil is being drilled in Alaska, Missles being fired in Libya and another covert operation on Al Qaeda being planned in some secret location. Moreover, you sleeping or being awake is largely indifferent to the way things go on. It's often said that one can make a difference, a truth which I don't deny. That is however, so ineffectively untrue when one's ego acts otherwise.

Looking in History, we see that people who have thought themselves as the least over-haulers of scenarios around, but yet kept on working on one path. These people made some of the most remarkable 'one man made' changes ever. Revolts in Tunisia may have been heavily supported by social networks like Twitter and Facebook, but it is interesting to see Gandhi run three major movements against the British Imperialism without having much access to media or internet 80 years ago. He wanted the change, but was definitely not thinking on lines to be 'the only one who will make a change'. That's what separates from the rest of the 'One'.

Realization of being the 'One' doesn't make Neo arrogant, buts makes him more dedicated towards the mission. Mission that his specialty is a trait to be used for a purpose, and not just for making bullets stop in mid air, only followed by the inability to stop them later.

Victory of 1.2 Billion People ...

1.2 billion won. Yes, it was not just 11 players - but 1.2 billion souls across the boundaries of INDIA . It's victory of youth - it's a victory of spirit .. And the victory is just a part of the giant leap this ancient land but a young country is making..

If we are able to be world champs at cricket, we surely will be at anything else .. I am sure that's what is going on in minds of all those people who are proud of being INDIANS, just as I proud of being one today ..

And then there was a website ...

After eons of procastination, the thing is finally out. Though nothing beany or flashy (pun intended), the simple html site is finally out. The template was fairly simple, and was deeply influenced by a website of a close friend.
Check darshanshinde.com.
This post breaks the ropes of laziness and inertia. The push from this post could definitely make me write something more in the coming days.
